The Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC) is an organization whose members consist of Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDA's)

Members must have completed an approved program and are expected to adhere to the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics of the Association.

CDAAC is committed to supporting excellence in Communicative Disorders Assistant practice and professional growth of all members.

Mission statement...

  1. To unite members of the profession and protect the character and status of the profession;

  2. To maintain and improve the qualifications and standards of the profession;

  3. To represent the members in their relationships with other Associations, government, colleges, and other national and international organizations;

  4. To promote and achieve statutory regulations for members;

  5. To provide the public with information regarding our profession and membership;
